Training docs for SpaceShare staff/volunteers
A variety of training docs will be added under this menu. Increasingly these are oriented towards staff, and serious volunteers. Many [all?] will be visible only to appropriate volunteers/staff.
SpaceShare Staff Basics:
- Check-in Friday (What did you plan to do, how did it go, what are your plans for next week; how many hours did you work). Alternatively, you can keep the main planning doc (which might change over time as we experiment with project management) fully up to date.
- Stephen, or hopefully soon someone else, will send out summaries Sunday+
- Learn our document conventions -- naming conventions and including summaries is important for almost all documents.
- Maintain two documents minimum (simple word docs are fine, or your preference): a ToDo list so you don't lose track of tasks
- Use good subjects in your emails -- change the subject when the topic changes
- All projects should have consistent names -- we can put them in email subjects, document headings, etc.
A little extra work at organization will make life easier for everyone! Don't make extra work for other people by being disorganized or failing to communicate!
