Great to know there is such an active forum in India to articulate its energy future and sustainable living initiatives. Incidentally, I returned back to India earlier this year following a long innings at CERA. My interest area is on World Energy Assessment and how the results hold pertinence for India. As a Buddhist and Hindu Culture is it self a E friendly cultures. and the Poorest of the poorer live in villages they don't ruins the environment and they are part of the environment. They will teach to the other developed nations to how to live with the environment.learn how to live with the environment from the economically poor but rich in culture.

I am Shiva Pokhrel from Nepal,a south Asian country. I am coming to 7th ecocity conference to present my paper. I have finished my master's degree in Zoology (ecology as special paper) from Central Deparment of Zoology, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur,Kathmandu,Nepal. Now, I am working as a Zoology lecturer in a private college in Kathmandu as well as I am working as a treasurer in a volunteer organization (Community and Social Service Volunteers)
