Travel together, meet new friends and save resources:

Search for a carpool. If you have a half-full car, our search lets you simultaneously look for passengers to fill it or for a ride so you can leave your car at home.
Taking the Bart or public transit? Sign in and travel with a neighbor, whether you need a car or not.
Share accommodations. Local homestays are particularly needed: can you host an out-of-town traveler? Travelers can search for hotel roommates, or hope to find a host.

It's easy to find your ride, flight or accommodation partners: just sign in here, quickly describe your needs, and our search program will sort other people's posts to help you find the best match. Treat this page and the next like you would a paper form, you hand them to us, and then we show you the possible matches, and we hold on to your information for people who sign up later.

Your email is needed so other participants can contact you, and we sometimes send a follow-up questionnaire asking how well the site is working for you. Your email will be used anonymously: other users will not see your email, but our server will send their message to you. We use your email address only for participation in the event you sign up for: we will not distribute your email to anyone else, nor even put you on our own monthly mailing list unless you "opt-in" and ask us to. We believe you should be able to look for a carpool without getting on any permanent email lists.
