What is the Space Share service fee?

The guest service fee covers payment processing, 24/7 support during your booking, the Space Share Guest Guarantee, and the platform itself.

For most bookings it's a flat 8% of the subtotal, capped at $200 per booking. It's shown as a separate line item before you confirm — there are no hidden fees.

Hosts pay a separate 3% host fee on their earnings.

The service fee is fully refunded any time your booking itself is refunded (including extenuating circumstances).
